
Gensplan – Attraction Marketing Crucial to Generating Business Leads
It appears like many people are making mistakes regarding the businesses they are getting involved with and what it takes to successfully market them.
There are many business opportunities out there and people are pouring into them like crazy. Some of these opportunities are with companies that have been around for years and are solid, proven winners. If you are one of those people that picked a high-quality business opportunity I am ecstatic for you.
But to my sadness, there are many companies out there that are pretty unstable deals. They guarantee you instant riches – all you have to do is become a member for them, pay your monthly fees, and then you can relax and rake in the cash. Mistaken, this is not how it works.
The fact is, there is a massive crash rate among persons trying to start a lucrative home based internet or network marketing venture. Close to 95% of the folks that join these online business, whether they are time-honored companies or one of the fly-by-night instant get rich schemes, will fail at making enough money to stay in business.
Assuming you picked a dependable business opportunity there is one crucial fact to consider if you want to be among the successful.
You have to understand the marketing required to make your business successful. If you don’t know how to market you will most likely be unsuccessful.
And, you need to understand the most critical piece about marketing and that is the making of leads.
You must have leads so that you can turn those leads into sales and/or enroll them into your business. The distressing part is that most network and Internet marketers fall short in the most imperative part of their marketing – lead generation. And the simple reason is usually because they do not know how to market appropriately. But you can without difficulty change that and get the education you need.
To help you gain a better appreciation of the many pieces involved in lead marketing, I am going to lay everything out for you in a relationship illustration or marketing map. The most important piece of the map is at the central point – the squeeze page. The lead capture page is essential to your marketing and once you discover how to do all the diverse types of marketing they all point back to one point – and that is your lead capture page.
No matter what kind of marketing you are doing, whether it’s SEO, MySpace, Digg, Blogs, etc., all of that traffic needs to be targeted to proceed to your lead capture pages.
To reiterate, all of your marketing needs to send all of your traffic to your lead capture page.
Essentially, the objective is for you to get on your way marketing using any or a blend of traffic generation – lead generation techniques. Then your marketing hard work will point people to your lead capture page and then you can convert that lead into a buying customer and/or a prospect to join your venture.
If all you’re doing is pushing your business, and not capturing leads, you are doing your self a disfavor. You must gain the leads and build relations with the people whose names you acquire.
Now when you learn how to market properly, you will become skilled at how to perfect these various marketing strategies. You do NOT need to perfect them all so don’t get frightened by how many types of traffic marketing there are. Some very profitable internet marketers only use 1 or 2 of these strategies, but they concentrate on them, get skillful at them, and they take action with them.
You can use things like MySpace or Twitter to draw traffic to your squeeze page. You can employ blogs and forums to establish yourself as an authority and get traffic to your squeeze page that way. You can also run advertisements on other people’s ad sites or use Yahoo Search Marketing to get traffic to your leads capture page. Pick one to get going.
Your lead capture page becomes the entry point into your marketing retention and follow up system, because the traffic that you capture there goes into your Autoresponder.
All the opt-ins go into YOUR autoresponder. This is because you need to create a list of your own customers and prospects. This is a key point, because in the preponderance of internet business out there, all of your hard work go to building a customer list for the company, NOT you!
You need to be doing this no matter what business you are in, whether it’s Qivani, GDI, Maddy Moo, etc. You need to get the traffic to your lead capture so that you can obtain the lead.
The autoresponder becomes your email director, your marketing follow-up system and your customer retention structure.
By using an autoresponder you can stay in touch with your potential recruits and over time they will be encouraged to either purchase products from you, go in with your business (if you are network marketing) or become resellers (if you are in affiliate marketing).
Use the email messages you send via your autoresponder list to help your contacts. After all, they wouldn’t have registered for your list if they didn’t think you had something to give them. So don’t disappoint them. Give them gratis things, give them education, coach them, and tactfully sell them on your products or business. Give them marketing training and show them how they can be successful with the goods you are selling or if they join your business. Under promise and Over deliver!
You can actually earn an income from this. We’ve set ourselves up with products and services so that we can make cash even if people don’t enter our business. This is because we have built a list of names that we are creating relationships with.
So bear in mind, no traffic – no leads, and with no leads you can’t keep your business profitable.
If you are already operating a business, you need to create a training system so that you can offer even more to your list of people. If you have yet to link up with a business you need to research a company that gives you with the right kind of marketing instruction. A good training program should show people how to set up their squeeze pages and autoresponder and educate them on which types of traffic generation will work best for them.
Keep in mind, you don’t have to use every one of the numerous types of marketing to get traffic. You can use the various tactics individually. The key thing is to use at least one of them, get good at it and stick with it.
So don’t waste any more time. Start doing things the right way and get the marketing training you need.
