Landing Page Strategies for Web Promotion

Too often, businesses promote their homepage at the expense of their interior pages. This is not a good strategy if you are interested in doing well in the SERPs, especially if you offer a variety of services or products for sale. After all, each webpage can really only be optimized for a dozen phrases at best.

The way to bring in more relevant visitors is to develop a number of targeted landing pages. A landing page should encourage a specific action rather than a multitude of options. This kind of landing page strategy is the key to higher conversions as well as more satisfied customers. Also, the strength of your website is really dependent upon having many strong pages, not just a powerful homepage with a lot of links coming to it. Building a diverse number of landing pages strengthens the entire site in the process of bringing more success.
