Yahoo is currently being sued in San Francisco by the wife of one such jailed Chinese dissident for human rights violations, of course there are no free speech and right to privacy guaranteed in China so she has to make these companies responsible from this country. It’s kind of ironic with Googles Sudan Google Earth thing and them doing this at the same time, must not be much of an internet market in Sudan so nothing lost for them.
